Description

**Note: This is not a fully historically accurate representation as it belongs to an alternate history timeline.**

Braunschweigisches Husaren Regiment Nr.17

is a hussar regiment of the Königlich Hannoversche Armee and like the IR-92 traces its lineage to the "Black Brunswickers" corps of the Wars of Liberation. Besides the Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr. 1, they are only other Hussar regiment which wears a black uniform. Similarities don't stop there as they both also wear a Totenkopf on their Peltzmützen, however they are of different design. The regiment is one of the most famous and recognizable regiments of the Imperial Army due to their distinctive uniform and a great combat record. They were the first Air-Cavalry unit of the Reichsheer when they were converted into that capacity during the Indochina War and proved crucial to Reich's eventual victory there.
